Jaw sore?

Question

Anyone else have any jaw, mouth joint/chewing pain?  I know...random and weird question.  Just started bothering me this morning and was curious if it might be pregnancy related.

Yes I had to start using my night guard again because I was getting pain in my ears from jaw chomping.

I find myself clenching and grinding more as well

Yes, I think I'm tensing up my jaw and clenching more, I don't know why.

I've had jaw problems for years (will eventually need surgery for it) and yes, hormone changes can exacerbate jaw problems for sure. I had a splint made by a really good dentist in NYC and it helps a lot. If your pain is severe you could look into splint therapy otherwise ice can help too.
