How soon after did you have sex?

I know the doctors recommend 6-8wks but not all people follow this. If you did have sex earlier, when was it? Did it hurt? Did you find you had complications in your recovery after?

Answer

I went to my six week postpartum appointment, and my husband and I had sex later that day.  My biggest issue was dryness, we had to take it slow and use lube. Other than that, things were pretty much like before.
