Me and my husband are newly ttc and I'm so confused by the whole process. According to my <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">glow app</a> I am in my fertile window, and one of my tasks today was to take an ovulation test. I'm confused because the directions on the test say I should take it on the 8th day of my period. My period started on the 29th of October and ended the 2nd of November (so 5 days). I'm already past what would have been the 8th day because today is the 6th, but according to Glow today is the first day of my fertile window. I took a test anyway and it said "No -" meaning no LH was detected.  So am I too early or too late for the ovulation test?
