When do you tell Family and coworkers that you're prego?

Hi! I'm not pregnant yet but just curious...when should you tell your family that you're pregnant? Also, when should you tell your coworkers?

Your baby, tell them whenever you want but just remember if something happens you have to tell them all that too.

I told our parents after our first scan at 6 weeks. Rest of the family was told between weeks 10-12. Boss knew right away bc I was so sick. It different for everyone. We have multiple scans showing a healthy baby and string heartbeat so we felt comfortable telling after our appt at 10 weeks.

Telling my best friend as soon as I get a positive. Will start telling the rest of our friends around week 12.
Family- whenever we can get together with them after we found out. 
My boss will likely know as soon as I find out because she's also my chiropractor and this will change my treatments. 
Everyone else around week 13-14 :)

I'll let my immediate family know as soon as the doctor confirms. And friends/extended family at 12 wks. And work pretty soon there after.

I've thought a lot about this. I personally will do right away for people who you wouldn't mind telling if you if a miscarriage and/or you want there for you through that process (close family and close friends). Then for everyone else and public announcements after hitting the second trimester.
