Has anyone recently gone off of BC?

Was AF on time/late? Was it a normal flow? How soon after were you able to conceive? I've stopped taking BC last month (after being on it for 15 years) and I'm curious to see what others have expierenced while coming off.

I was on and off for about that same amount of time. I stopped taking then August 2nd (about 4 days before I was to start my iron pills). I used the ovulation sticks for the first two months, but I could only catch one time when I ovulated. Three months after I stopped, it seems like my body has just now really stared getting to a sense of normalcy. I ovulated for a few days. I think it took three months for the pills to actually get out of my system, but I know it's different for everyone. We have been ttc for 3 months now!

I went off BC in October. I got my period after 30 days and it's definitely not normal. Very light considering. I'm not even sure if it's a "period" or what the heck it is!! The first few weeks off I didn't notice any difference. The third week I felt awful-dizzy, fatigued, nauseated, headaches-and then it went away. I also used opks around the time I was "supposed" to ovulate and never saw a positive so I don't even know if I have yet (another reason I question if I'm having a "real" period)

I went off BC in early September after about 17 years. Had switched to Loloestrin the 6 months prior. AF was right on time, albeit a short one. Last month was a brutal and normal AF and again right on time. Now just waiting. AF due tomorrow.
