Ok so my husband has also been the jealous type.  We have been together for six years.  I have lost so many friendship because of his jealousy.  Only 3 years ago was he ok with me hanging out with my two GIRL best friends.  Fast forward to now.  He says to me I'm going to start hanging out with my friends.  So I assume he means his guy friends from his tech school that he has hung out with in the past.  Oh no he wants to start hanging out with girls he knew in elementary.  I'm fuming mad. I think it's totally inappropriate for a married man to be going to girls houses with our daughter and having play dates. One girl he has talked about before and I know her so I wasn't super upset but now it's another girl I've never heard about.  Never has he given me reason to not trust him and these girls are definitely not his type but I just don't think it's ok. We got in a huge fight today. Am I the crazy one?  What would you do?

You are right. That is unacceptable and inappropriate. Stand your ground on this one. And less you guys are together he shouldn't be spending any time with another woman.

You're definitely right! It's not about trust or jealously, it's about respect. Unless he wants you to join along, I don't see the reasoning behind it.

That's inappropriate! Put yourself in a place where there is temptation and it will over take you. Married people should never put themselves in a situation where there could be temptations. Nope not ok

First of all he's way too controlling!  Second you can't demand your wife to not hand out with friends and then turn around and do the same thing.  It's creepy.  He sounds like his problems are more than insecure he's playing a control game with you.  He's not allowing you to do anything but allows himself to do what he wants and controls your emotions by doing that.  If you didn't know this is a form of abuse and I would watch for more signs!

Id say if he wants to hang out with this girl you should do it as a family if its for a playdate there really should be no problem with that see what he says

Married people are suppose to be of one flesh... we're you go, I go too. It's inappropriate for married people to be straying off with people of the opposite sex.
If it's that important to him, and if your ok with it, invite her over where you can see what kind of relationship this is. Stay your ground for sure! It sounds as if you both might have a little insecurity but playing games like this can do that to a relationship. However, it's not ok for you to NOT have friends of the SAME gender!

Nope. That's inappropriate. You need to talk to him about that and if he wants to hang out with the kids and her you should also be invited.
