Endometrial Hyperplasia ?

Question

So me and my partner have been trying. To conceive for about 2yrs now, I went to the doctors & was reffered to a gynaecologist had some test and hysteroscopy done and it turns out I have endometrial hyperplasia in only 23 and this is so uncommon for someone of my age. I'm just wondering if anyone else has/ had endometrial hyperplasia and has had a baby. It's driving me crazy every time AF arrives and I'm not pregnant.

I was diagnosed last summer and I have had 2 hysteroscopys. I was given megestrol pills to take for 3 months and it didn’t help then I had an IUD implanted to help deliver the progesterone directly and it’s been 3 months and it hasn’t completely cleared it. My doctor said that I am not responding to treatment so his recommendation is to do a hysterectomy. I am 29 years old and have never been pregnant. He says I can go against treatment and try the megestrol again with the IUD in place and that is my last chance. I weigh 210 lbs and he says that being overweight it contributes to the hormonal imbalance causing all of this. The tissue has hyperplasia but he said I don’t have any cancer, it just looks suspicious. I am very upset and getting a second opinion from another doctor because I feel like he gave up on me. I have never even had the chance to TTC. Even if I can have at least one child before doing a hysterectomy I would be completely fine with that. I am currently eating healthier and exercising and losing weight hoping that I will help in some way. I will find out in 3 months if this dual treatment helps at all. Good luck to you as well.

I know you posted this a month ago, but I am also 23 with endometrial hyperplasia. I'm glad to know I'm (I guess we're now? 😅) not alone.

im24 and i have this as well was told my lining was 15.88mm thick durring mentration when it should only be 5mm thick at the most. it can be treated with progesterone. over the course of six month your body can naturally remove the extra cells. the progesterone gets your estrogen to calm the f down and stop making more lining. its recommended to get you lining cells tested to check for atypical cells which means you chances of developing reproductive caner may be higher than most women. but atypical cells in women premenopausal is very very rare. :) you also have the option to have a surgery to remove the excess lining and then start progesterone. hppe this helps. :)
