Ladies I apriaciate you're opinions. 
Let me know if I'm wrong ok . Is it bad if I don't really want a shower or a welcome last time that I did one for my baby 1 ... It wasn't really how I expected ... It was ok but no friends at least I called them at that time showed up and we just celebrated the shower with his family's but to be honest I really care less I would rather me buy little but little if I can't all than have to make people buy me stuff all over again !!! Is more of pride thing ;) but I love that you are having one . My husband and my sis always asks me me why not or tell me I'm crazy showers allways helps but I'm not amazed this time. Is that bad for thinking like that ? I rather my husband and I take time to apriciate the welcoming because we are both the parents . ;) like that you can have what you want you're baby to have ?

I wound say before to prepare and have things ready for when baby arrives. Plus I don't think I would want a new baby in a room full of friends and family that all want to touch and hold him at once. I'm all for everyone meeting and holding him but all at once makes me nervous. Also my attention will be all on the little guy, I won't be able to worry about a shower or anything once he's here.

I'm having a welcome baby shower end of June. She'll be 2 months old and I'll feel like being around people again! We have so many friends and coworker's who are due March-may that I don't want to add another baby shower to everyone's schedule.

In my family we usually have both but we sometimes prefer after just because I have a lot of family coming from out of town so it makes it better and easier for them to come and meet the baby in 1 trip. But if you have all your family close then it's up to you.

I would have it before personally. I don't really want to have that many people at one time passing my newborn around. Plus you never know what baby is going to want to be doing at that stage. Like cluster nursing for hours...that'd be unfortunate. Lol
