My exes ex is becoming a good friend

So over a year ago I ended a relationship, he got into a new one and ended it after two months. She had some kind of beef with me for the longest time and I just ignored her and she got over it. Well after seeing eachother out in a social event we've started talking. She just wanted to apologize and we literally talked for 8 hours straight and it's been like 5 days now of non stop talking. Never ever in my life would I have ever thought that I would befriend my ex boyfriends new girl (I say that because theyre an off and on thing kinda) and I seriously adore her, may not be a fan of my ex but I like her and I have never met someone so much like me in my life. This is the weirdest thing in the world to me.
