Baby Shower Rant..

So like I said I don't have friends..that I would invite to a baby shower so it would just be family..which is fine. So I said I don't really care if I have a baby shower because it won't be tons of people so my husband and I will be buying everything pretty much ourselves anyway. (We've already bought the stroller/car seat, swing/bouncy seat combo and pack n play) 

Well my mom and mother in law are insisting on having a shower. They get along great so that's not the issue. The issue is they both keep saying they need to talk to each other and start figuring things out. I already said I don't want to do it so its up to them (I don't feel like planning a party and asking people to buy stuff for us..its just weird to me). But then neither one is doing anything. I picked the date already and I've looked into places but they aren't doing it. I am so ready just to tell them don't bother..I don't know what to do. 

Anyway it's not a huge deal it's just bugging me I guess.
