Where do labor pains/contractions hurt

I've been having a lot of niggling pain on my left lower abdomen sometimes in the right too and around both sides of my back and left hip! But I'm not sure if these are labour pains or not, or if anyone can tell me there experiences with them, when I had periods the pain was in the back and left abdomen, it's a catch 22 with me as I have never experienced labour 😩

All over is another option. The entire uterus contracts, which may or may not cause actual pain in the early stages. Personally, I tend to feel labor pain in my back (5 births)....but everyone's different. 
My guess is that if your pain is only one side or the other, there is a good chance that it is not labor yet.

Sounds like round ligament pains. When your in labor you'll know. Your whole tummy will tighten up and they will come consistently.
