Our little Princess's arrival

At 35w6d I went in to work as usual, having my usual pelvic cramps, as i had quite frequently, so didn't think much of it. At 11:00 I began to feel worse and called my doctor, who urged me to come see him immediately. At 11:20 my doc tookone  look at me, and checked my dilation. I was two fingers in and in active labor. Booked into the maternity ward and was prepped for theater for an emergency c-section. In theater they did a spinal block on me, which didn't work, so they had to give me general anesthesia. At 12:23, our beautiful princess Aimee Cassidy Myburgh was born, 45cm tall and weighing 2,46kg ,46kg! She's the tiniest thing, but already takes up all the space in our hearts!
