Missed a day on the pill

My boyfriend works away and I know to use a condom for a week after any missed pill. So my question is, I was traveling for a day and missed my pill by accident and about 2 days ago, and today I have taken it 4 hours late (this is really unlike me I've had a rough week) and I've started my period, should I wait till this period finished to continue on the pill again.
