Birth control

So me and my boyfriend has been in a relationship for four month and we have been having unprotected sex yes he's been pulling out but I'm scared the pull out method won't always work.. I want to get on birth control and I want to know which birth control is the best to go on I have two choices and that's the implant and the pill but I'm not sure which one so I'm wondering who has either one and what has their side effects and their period changes on them..
