They can get very messy. The first and only time I used that kind of spermicide, I ended up leaving a wet spot on his bed... Because it soaked through my jeans. I was so embarrassed! Now I just stick the the film. No mess or leakage!

I tried these once but found they were unreliable. My ex's and i always used condoms too so luckily no unplanned babies. I just didn't feel comfy enough. So i went back to using the pre-filled spermicide gel. Which i feel is good for me.
