Patience???

Okay, so I've had my IUD (jaydess) for about 3 months now. I'm really not sure how long it takes for things to regulate and what not. Since I got it, my cramps have gotten worse and my period lasts a little longer but those are the only things that really bother me so far... I was just wondering if this will go away. Also, isn't my period supposed to stop?? My bleeding is slightly heavier but nothing dramatic. I'm just not sure what is and isn't normal. Thanks:)
