Some people express their love differently.  If you get the opportunity,  look up "the five love languages" and take the test. 
It was a big life saver for my marriage.  My love language is physical touch and his is words of affirmative.  Two completely different things.  There was a time I didn't feel loved by him,  now I do because we're both more aware of how the other shows and receives love.  Try it, you may be surprised.  
Also,  try speaking to her.  Let her know how you feel.

OH MY GOODNESS! I AM IN THE EXACT SAME SITUATION WITH MY BOYFRIEND. 😱 I know exactly how you feel, I always go out of my way to put a smile on his face, I try to be sweet and romantic by doing nice things for him to show him I care but all I get is a thank you in return. And he never says he loves me. Glad to know I'm not the only one going through this, and I definitely also need some advice.
