Morning after pill-- how many times??

Question

How many times can you take the morning after pill? My boyfriend and I rely on condoms only and I've taken plan b already so if another condom broke could I take it again?

Normally you should only be using 1 plan b per cycle other wise that's a lot of hormones and kind of throws your period out of wack. But maybe think about considering another form of bc if the condom isn't keeping you at a piece of mind.

I just had to take one today actually. But honestly get on birth control if you're worried. The after pill is for emergency only and it messes up your cycle. It shouldn't be taken that often.

I think as long as you're not taking it every single week/month for extended periods of time you're good. I've taken it 3 times in the past 4 years and (as far as I know) it hasn't given me any issues.

I remember my doctor saying to try and not use it more than 3 times a year. It is a hormonal pill and also it does have a lot of strength. But also, it can have it's side effects, as any other pill. And I believe , as other pills, we can become tolerant to it. So , the body can really get messed up if taking too many times. You never know, the next time you take it, it might not even work because of how often the body changes. Birth control , such as IUDs and Depo Provera are always a good choice for you. You can use condoms but you can always have a back up plan.

You can take it again, but it's going to mess with your cycle and continue messing with your cycle as long as you keep taking it. It's not meant to be taken repetitively close together. If condoms keep breaking, you may be doing something wrong, statistically, they really don't break very often. 
I strongly suggest using a second form of birth control, whether it's the pill, a diaphragm, whatever. Taking plan b repetitively isn't the best idea.
