Corsets?

I know it's very controversial as of late. Have any of you ladies tried them? Do they work? Do they hurt? I've heard so so many negatives and positives on them

I love them. I use them on their own for the look. They make me look thin and and can be very beautiful with skirts

Did you use it while ttc? I'd really like one but am worried it may affect ttc. Also wondering did it make your appetite change any?

I used a waist trainer and it's worked amazingly well for me! I'm pregnant now so obviously aren't using it as of late but before I got pregnant I used it for a good few months and it was fantastic

Love them, am wearing one right now. I corset at least twice a week for waist training, fashion, and also because the pressure helps my anxiety sometimes. Just make sure you pay close attention to sizing and don’t lace to tight at first.

Hi all! I knew one day my days of the renaissance faire would pay off! 
I worked at a corset shop and helped women find one that fit and looked great. 
But to answer your questions,

No they don't hurt, uncomfortable as hell, yes but painful no. At least if the person lacing you knows what they're doing.

They can help shape your body, but it's not recommended to wear it that long because it can damage your rib cage and hips.

You can wear them trying to convince but do not wear one during pregnancy or shortly after just because it can mess up your rib cage and organs that are shifting back from growing a human.

They're expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Also get a steel bone one, like the ones where it's steel running up it keeping it intact and straight.

They are super hard to bend it, it's like bending when pregnant, you bend your knees and at the hips mostly because you can't really bend your midsection.

They are amazing. I would definitely invest in one. Because you can use them as costume pieces or just wear them with every day where if you're bold enough.

I have a corset that I wear as a costume peice, but after my baby arrives I may use it to.train my waist back to the shape it is now (the bottom on my ribcage is very narrow, so.it is likely that it will stretch to accommodate a whole other person)
