Chapter Two : Simone

"What have you done?" Simon said in shock. He walked in dropping the flowers he brought for Alfia. You could tell he didn't recognize Reign or myself. On his knees, he held his fiancé s lifeless body in his arms. "What have they done to you" he repeated over and over again. At this point, I started to become annoyed with him. He never showed this type of emotion when my mom disappeared. "I bet you wouldn't love this whore if you knew what she really was." I said with an attitude. Simon stands up looking me in the eyes. "Whatever she was, it couldn't be as worst as a murderer," I grabbed his arm and sat him in the kitchen chair. "I was out late that night with Lamont. We finally decided that it was time to wrap things up so he dropped me off at home. When I went inside, I went to the kitchen to make something to eat then I heard something that sounded like a moan. I couldn't be sure because I was making to much noise in the kitchen but then I heard the noise again. I stopped what I was doing and went upstairs. If rain was having sexual intercourse, I wanted to catch her in action so that I could snitch on her. That would be my revenge from when she told you that I was out late. I got to the upstairs hallway and the noise was definitely coming from her room but the moans suddenly started to sound like a struggle. I was about to rush inside but I didn't know what I was up against. Instead I peeked through the door and that when I saw the most disturbing image. A man, with a masquerade mask was on top of Reign. He had his hands around Reigns throat lightly choking her as he was going deeper and deeper inside of her. Reign was trying to fight him but his grip around her neck became tighter every time she tried to fight. I was thinking I could take him and I was about to make my move but then that bitch came out of Reign's bathroom saying it was her turn. I didn't know what to do so I left the house. I LEFT HER THERE WITH THAT MONSTER," as I told him the story, a stream of tear started down my face. I'm not one to cry but knowing I didn't help her killed my spirit. I vowed never to speak of this to anyone. Reign didn't even know that I knew about that night. Simon doesn't say anything. His face is blank. Reign is daydreaming. She's probably thinking about how much she hates me for not helping her. The room is silent then someone loudly knocks on the door. "Hello, it's the police is everything ok in there?" We all stare at each other in shock.
