Am I stuck!?

My husband recently decided he doesn't want more children. We have one. We talked about wanting kids before this so I never knew he only wanted ONE. I want at least two. I will not divorce him over this obviously. But he changed his mind and to me, it's not fair :( we do use the pull out method so the chance of pregnancy is there but I don't want to depend on that. (Yes I know pull out isn't effective lol) am I wrong for being upset? I need advice on what to do.

You need to communicate with him. Don't try to get pregnant without his full consent.

What can you do? If you won't leave him over it, your only choice is to accept the idea of only having one child.

Maybe he will change his mind again. My fiancé wanted 2 kids and then all of a sudden switched the next day saying he wanted 4! I'm definitely not having 4. But maybe convince him that your child would like a sibling and how it will benefit your family. I'm sure you can convince him and if he sees how much it means to you then he should consider it.

Maybe in time he will change his mind? My fiancé had a daughter when we got together, then we had a son. He said he didn't want anymore kids after that. But 3 years later we decided on another baby & I have my second son now :)

Just give it time your little one will reach the age of wanting a sibling and it will give you another chance to really talk about it. But in the mean time make sure he knows your feelings on this. This isn't a decision that can be made alone.

I know at least for us our desire for kids had changed over time.  When we got married I wanted 2, hubby wanted 3.  After our first was born we both theoretically wanted more, but it took us until our first was almost 2 before we could really start thinking about ttc again.  Give it time and try to communicate.  He might feel more open to it over time (and like you said using pull out method he might get one regardless!)  Good luck!

I would talk to him and explain to him how you feel and see what happens and using the pull out method is not the best way to not have kids even though for us it worked for 6yrs with no issues, so good luck
