Who am I his mother? He's a grown man and fully capable of taking care of himself. If he's ill, of course I will take care of him, but I would expect the same if the roles were reversed.

We are both grown ups and equal partners.

Where I do believe in more traditional gender roles, I very much so think the relationship is equal. I have always believed my husband to be the leader in our relationship, but a good leader thinks about what's best for his family as a whole, and that's what my husband has always done. Our relationship started out as he caring for me constantly as I was at the worst of my PTSD. And he naturally has a very selfless personality. We definitely have a non-traditional, traditional marriage. Although my PTSD is so much better, and I was able to retire my service dog before our daughters birth, I still have to watch how much I do in a day, as I can easily become anxiety filled. Because of this we have always tag teamed actual cleaning so I can focus on our daughter during the day. Besides, my husband is a little strangely awesome and loves vaccuming. He gets a little disappointed if I do it 😂 I know I am very blessed to have the man I do, and it's not normal for men to not mind cleaning. He has a very detail oriented personality and he can't just sit still and do nothing. So he has never had a problem helping around the house, or making dinner if I had a particularly difficult day with our daughter.

I personally love taking care of my husband and making sure he feels like a man. But he also takes care of me and shows me that he cherishes me. So I think it's equal

I believe it's equal but my SO thinks the weight more so falls on me (the woman). He takes care of me in a number of ways but all the household chores all fall on me. He is the king of the castle. I sometimes get annoyed by this but overall our relationship works and I'm happy.

Yes and no. Hes supposed to take care of you in the ways a man should and your supposed to take care of him the way a women should. This can very from couple to 💑 couple. Exsample just an example he works you take care of the house or vice vercia. Or bills he pas this bill you pay that one. It honestly depends on the people. Talk to him see what he wants from you and you tell him what you want from him
