ER today and Throw up, has this happened to anyone?

I had my ER today. After i left I have thrown up twice and have not been able to eat much. Had this happened to anyone?

I was given anti-nausea meds in my IV during the ER and a prescription to take home bc I am prone to nausea. Anesthesia can cause bad nausea for some. I'm sorry and I hope you feel better!

I had a laparatomy last Thursday and once they took me off morphine on Saturday, everything went south. Lots of vommiting which is totally no fun after abdominal surgery! Doc said it was normal reaction to anesthesia though once morphine was out. If it continues past 24 hours, then contact doctor so you don't get dehydrated.

I've had quite a few surgeries and been under anaesthetic multiple times. I'd never had an issue. But after ER I felt hideous and ended up throwing up. I was told it's quite common for this procedure. Hope you feel better soon.

Maybe it's a reaction from the anesthesia (sp?).  My dr gave me a
Drug given to chemo patients before my retrieval because I told him I get nausea after surgeries. He actually asked me if I get car sick....sure do. I was not sick at all after my retrieval. Maybe you should call the office and get the dr on call to call you.
