Chances of pregnancy when on BC??

So I'm about to get on birth control but I just wanted to know if it is safe for my guy to ejaculate in me? I know that some people use condoms and birth control to be extra safe but I don't want to use condoms.

Hormonal birth control (the pill, implant, patch, depo shot) - use hormones to prevent your body from ovulating. Therefore if there is no egg present in your Fallopian tubes no matter how many sperm are ever there you won't be able to conceive.

Other hormonal birth control - (minipill and I think the rings) change the consistency of cervical mucus making it harder for sperm to swim up and find their way into the uterus.

IUD - higher effective form of BC - the hormonal one prevents ovulation and implantation and were not 100% sure why the copper one works but it prevent pregnancy without using hormones.

All in all its about measuring up the risk you're at on your particular BC and work out whether that risk is too high and you're going to pair it with barrier methods or if you're comfortable with that risk and going to have sex with condoms.

If taken perfectly (the same time everyday) it is 98% effective at preventing pregnancy. You'll be safe girl.

I've been on the birth control patch for almost a year now, and my partner and I have unprotected sex, and sometimes he does ejaculate in me, and I am fine. I have heard that the patch is more effective than the pills.
