Has anyone else gotten the Rhogam shot? My blood type is a negative (A-) im getting the Rhogam shot on November 28th because of my rare blood type. Doctor told me it can affect my baby if my BD is a positive blood type. What's your blood type?

No won't effect your baby at all!! It will protect future pregancies.. If your baby is a positive blood type and if something were to happen during labor where her blood where do get into your blood stream you will then have the positive antigens in your blood.. Then with future pregnancies if your then baby were to be a negative blood type, your body would fight and try to get rid of the baby

So the shot just helps with future pregnancies & will not hurt your baby you have on board now!! Would definitely recommend you get the shot!!! Good luck doll

Got my shot today at 28 weeks! I'm A- and my husband is B+. It's completely safe and prevents any complications in future pregnancies... Which I'm all for. Good luck! :)

AB- and get the shot in a few weeks, l be 28 weeks. I had a miscarriage in April and got the shot right after that, then tested positive in June for baby 😍🙌🏼

I'm B-positive. Doctor said its a good blood type to have and is considered "normal"

I'm RH- and I've had the shot 2 so far. Once after my first pregnancy and the. One 3-4 months later. They found one of my antibodies a few weeks ago and instead of getting the shot this week (my 28th week) they want me to wait to see if it was just a reaction from the two shots being so close together after miscarrying or if the antibodies are attacking my baby. 😁 so worried!! But he keeps me reassured with his movements.
