Lillian Faith 11/16/15
She came a little sooner than expected, being a FTM and all..water broke on 11/15/15 @ 37.3 weeks at home while watching "Erin Brockovich" movie with just a small trickle at first and than BAM! An entire flow of water in the wash room, took my time getting ready and washed some cloths since I had yet to pack my bag. We got to the hospital @12 am on the 16th. Checked in and nurse confirmed that indeed my water had broken, they sent me back and let me progress on my on with no luck, and no pain so we started on pitocin. Slowly progressed to 4cm got my epi at 3cm (pain was manageable but very very painful) and than out of no where next check was 7cm!!! Doctor gave me about 2 more hours and we were ready to push! Pushed for about 30 minutes!! Baby was born at 8:34 pm And there was my baby, we did skin to skin for about an hour and I am so in love! Over all experience was good, if any complaint at it would be that the epi did not take the first time..I'm also healing from a 2nd degree episiotomy. It was all worth it to have this sweet girl in my arms!
