How soon should I start buying things for baby?

I'm only 5 weeks and eager to buy but I know I should wait. How long did you guys wait?

I got my bfp at 3weeks 1day. We bought our pack n play and one of our carseats/stroller at 5weeks. I'm 37weeks today and soooo glad we got an early head start as I had to take my leave 4weeks early due to complications. We had everything by week 25. Honestly though, it's all personal preference. Whenever you feel ready is when you can start.

I honestly would start right away. I hit up super good sales and would stock up while the overstock tables were out. I would however buy the car seat in the last trimester because of expiry of car seats. You could be buying for your next baby too and could skip needing a new one if its 8 months younger than if you bought it in the first month.

I started buying diapers right away. I bought a pack a week and now we are STOCKED at 35 weeks. I recommend diapers of all brands and sizes.

I started buying things right away in neutral colors that either a boy or girl could wear, now that it's going to be plenty of upcoming sales I'd definitely start shopping and buying clothes and shoes in various sizes as babies grow so fast....

It's completely up to you!!! There is no too soon when it comes to preparing for your first baby just leaves you with more time to get everything you need

It's up to you! If there's sales going on, I'd go for it. I didn't start buying until around my 20 week scan and I wish I had picked up some stuff sooner, even just small items

I starte right away when I saw sweet deals! My mom is also pregnant so I figured if anything happened to mine, or vice versa, I would give her everything 😊 Nesting syndrome happens right away with some, so if you see a sweet deal don't hesitate! Especially in this season 😏
