Water weight??

So I changed how I'm eating now and I know I'm not perfect at it yet, but I have a salad once a day during the week, I drink water like crazy all day everyday, I've been going to the gym twice a week for the last two weeks and I'm shooting for three times this week. I know the weight doesn't just fall off, but why does it seem like I'm gaining weight? I did just get off my period two days ago, but I feel fatter now that I work out and eat differently and I got weighed yesterday and I've gained 10lbs between September and now, idk what to do 😔😞
