Work after maternity leave

I'm 40w 4d and my husband doesn't want me to return to work after my maternity leave. I've been with the company for 10 years. He says he can't trust babysitters. What should I do being that I want to return to work ? I would hate for us to fight this but I think I have my mind set. What did you ladies do? Any feed back would be great.
