Intercourse every other day???

Question

Hi! I'm a 22 year old TTC first baby and I am new to this app. On some of the comments I read that is better to have sex every other day instead of every day. I'm ovulating today so I had intercourse but I was planning on having sex tomorrow too lol to increment the possibility, is there any especific reason why it should be every other day? Or can i knock my self out? Lol jk 😂

I agree with Casey that everyone is different.. When my husband and I first started TTC we would try every day around the time I was ovulating, before during and after. Two months after we started trying I got a positive HPT. (I ended up miscarrying about 12 days later.) For the next three months we tried the same way since it had worked in July but had no luck. In October I literally planned out the days we would try and we started either two or three days after my period ended. We did that for two weeks and found out we were pregnant on Halloween! So long story short, it has worked both ways for us. After 6 months it was nice to not feel like we had to try every single day. It started to feel like a chore. Having to wait until the next day made it better somehow :p Good luck! !

The theory is that you need to do it every other day so that the sperm can recover/replenish to the ideal amount for conception. However, there are those who get pregnant having sex every day. It's one of those things that may or may not happen for you. Baby dust all around though!

I have heard and read that having sex every other day is ideal when TTC - it gives the sperm a chance to replenish. In all honesty, you can have sex and all you want and still get pregnant. My hubby and I try for every other day to give ourselves a break and it's convenient for us but whatever works for you and your partner is fine too. I believe it's all personal preference and what works for you guys. Baby dust to you!

Thank you ladies! I guess I'll do the experiment of one month trying every other day and the next everyday to see what happens but hopefully this month is the one! I've always wanted to deliver in the summer or when is still hot :P crazy thoughts lol thank u again :)
