boy troubles - please help

I was at a party and the guy I like was there! and I really really like him and we were both really, really drunk! And he kissed another girl and I was really upset but of course he was really drunk and so was I! he kept apologising and telling me he loved me, because he knows I really like him! He kept apologising when he was sober later on that night and into the morning! do yous reckon he was genuinely sorry or?? please help!
