Doctor Appointment?

How soon do you make a doctors appointment after you find out you're pregnant? I'm 4 weeks I think. Just found out 2 days ago.

In the past my family doctor saw me right away to confirm pregnancy and order blood work and give me info.  She planned to follow me until 12 weeks when an ob would take over.  This time I'm using a midwife and they take patients at 8 weeks.

I guess it all depends on who you see. My doctor is seeing me right away to confirm and all that good stuff.

I called for.an appt they dont see people until 10-12 weeks now but 3 years ago with my daughter i went in at like 6 weeks

I found out I was pregnant last friday. I called and asked for a blood test to confirm. Once that was positive we scheduled my first prenatal visit and ultrasound for December 22nd. I will be around 11 weeks.

I made mine right  away because I wasn't sure. My appointment I was exactly 5weeks. The doctor said most women wait until they are 7-8weeks pregnant!
