Pregnant without knowing?

How often is it that a woman is pregnant without knowing? How long does it take for her to find out?

Answer

I think going past 12 weeks without knowing is on the rare side. Most women know by the time they have a missed period so about 4-6 weeks pregnant.

I was 6 1/2 months with my second son when I found out. I was still having a period. The only reason I found out was I went to the ER for back pain that I was having at work, got a positive urine test, then when they have me an ultrasound to see if everything was ok found I was 6 1/2 months along. Talk about a shock.

Well my co workers son's ex girlfriend was 26 weeks with twins till she found out she was pregnant! She was a thin girl and always bled monthly which she thought was her period and she had bad acid reflux according to the doctor and gave her pills I don't remember what else but she ending up finding out she was pregnant :)

I wouldn't have known until 30 weeks if not for taking a test with my friend to calm her nerves. I was the one who was pregnant not her lol

My sister's best friend just had her baby and found out she was pregnant at 6 months.

With both of my pregnancies I didn't find out until I was almost 5 months pregnant. I had an irregular period back then so me not having a period every month was normal. I would always get bfn's. Never had any symptoms to make me think I was pregnant. Then with both pregnancies I threw up one day once and the very next day got my bfp's. Then never had any other symptoms. So I guess what I though was my period was only me spotting.
