How much raspberry leaf tea?

Started drinking one pack at night for 3 days now. Should I start upping it to 2 cups? Success stories with this tea anyone?

I was told to start drinking it at 36 weeks to soften the cervix and make labor easier. The midwife said to buy in bulk and steep for 6 hours (infusion); then drink a regular cup. She said the regular tea bags aren't strong enough?

I started drinking 1 cup a day at 28 weeks. I'm now 37 weeks and drink 3 cups a day :) I'll up it to 3-4 cups a day next week for the rest of my pregnancy

Started drinking it at 30 weeks. Started at one cup and now at 36 weeks I love it so mug I have 30oz/ day. I add honey in mine :) this is the first pregnancy that I'm trying it.

Last pregnancy I started drinking it around 36wks and 5 days and went into labor 3 days later. This pregnancy I started drinking 2/3 cups a day at 34 weeks because ive read ALOT that it does not induce labor & only makes labor more effective. After 2 days drinking this tea I started having contractions. They gave me a shot to stop them last night & I'm thinking it could be the tea. Not sure but I will resume with the tea around 36weeks & a couple of days.

Red Raspberry Leaf Tea
 
Red raspberry leaf tea has been used for centuries to promote fertility, relieve menstrual cramps, provide nourishment during pregnancy, and prepare for labor.  It is full of calcium and acts to nourish and tone the uterus.  It does not cause contractions, but helps make labor effective when it occurs.  It is helpful in preventing pitocin augmentation and postpartum hemorrhage.  It can be started early in pregnancy but should certainly be used in the final 4-6 weeks of pregnancy.
 
Recipe
 
1 oz red raspberry leaf (sold in the bulk herb section of health food or herb stores like YES Organic Market or may be purchased on line at www.frontierherb.com)
1 qt boiling water
 
Pour boiling water over the leaves in a non-breakable container.  Let steep for 6 hours. This is called an infusion and it is very strong. Drink 2 glasses per day.  You can dilute it with fresh water if you like.  The Red Raspberry Leaf Tea Bags do not make the tea strong enough.

I started drinking the earth mama angle baby 3rd trimester tea a few weeks ago, but less than a month. One bag a day so far. The first day I drank it was the first time I had a Braxton hicks contraction - at least that I noticed. Today at 35w4d my doctor checked me for the first time. He says I'm not dialating yet, but the baby has started to drop and he'll most likely come early rather than late. Not imminent though by any means. This is my first baby, so we'll see!
