My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, so we've made our own friends at our schools. He's met mine and I've met his. I don't expect him to be buddy buddy with my friends, but he expects that of me. I am very picky when it comes to making friends, and he knows this. I don't understand how it's possible for him to want me to like his friends solely on the principle that he's friends with them. I wouldn't really be friends with them otherwise, and I don't particularly like them. I just don't know what to say that I haven't already to try to make my boyfriend understand that.
