What does 60 percentile mean?

I want for a 30 week appointment and they told me he is in the 60 percentile.

Its a "standard" which tells you where your baby is growth-wise compared to the average. The ideal average would be 50%. The closer to 50 the better (you have nothing to worry about). The higher the number the bigger the baby. Many times mothers who have gestational diabetes will have a very high percentile  which can lead to early labor/c-section because the baby Just gets too big.

My baby is in the 90th percentile I am very tiny and I don't have gestational diabetes I'd say 40-60 range is nice :-) no big heads to push lol
