Sharp stomach pain - 12 wks

Do I'm at work and I'm experiencing a kind of sharp pain that comes and goes. Near the middle of my belly. I've been a little gassy, but usually when that happens, the feeling is a bit lower and not so sharp. Has anyone else felt this? Am I worried about nothing? This is my first child so i have no idea what I'm supposed to feel like, other than the general things I read or have been told. I'd call my doc, but she's on vacation, so that's out. Any help y'all could give would be great. Thank you.
