They separated my membranes and sent me home today. The doctor doesn't want me to go past 39 weeks since I have gestational diabetes and I was under the impression that we would be inducing me this week, but today she told me that we would induce me on the 30th.. Which is two days before my due date. I'm upset because I was really hoping to go soon.. Now I have to wait ten more days and I'm just in so much pain. I can't sleep or walk or sit or lay down without my hip being in major pain. And when the baby moves it shoots pain down my leg. I have been like this for 3 or 4 weeks and I'm just done being pregnant. I heard that labor comes soon after having the membranes separated.. Anyone have any input on that?
