Is it selfish to name a child something ridiculous for your own enjoyment?

What I mean by my question is naming a child Twinkle because you enjoy the name. Or naming them something a little ridiculous because you enjoy the name but don't realize kids might bully them growing up.

I know a guy named Dickman, I kid you not. Met him yesterday.

Parents just have to think about that  children will grow up and will live their life with that name what parents gave them-for fun.....

From what I've read the mother has a mental illness & her other children had odd names so I don't know if it necessarily was for her enjoyment. Maybe she actually liked the name. 😕 Holly Madison did name her daughter Rainbow & Beyonce has Blue so what's the difference? We all just have different preferences.

My mom knows a kid named "no more" he was like the 8th kid and his parents said no more kids so thats where he got his name

I wouldn't call it being selfish but that child does have to live with whatever name his parents named him for the rest of his life until he reaches the age he can legally change it. I'm not sure when that is.
