Who brushes their dogs teeth??

I brush them when i remember. The one acts like im punishing him and the other one loves it lol. When i actually do it daily for a a few days it helps there breath but when i dont do it for a while (which i have been slacking) then they end up with poopy trash breath. 😖 ive been trying to do better  lol

I groom, and it's important to maintain a healthy puppy smile :) I don't brush my dogs teeth, I actually scrape the tartar off when I start noticing it or his breath gets kindof stinky. Things like dog chewing bones or nylabones or hard food is good for their teeth. Especially if the dog only eats wet food, it is even more important to give them something hard for their teeth. And the brushing of the teeth isn't really what's "important", it's the enzymes in the dog toothpaste. If you can't brush, they also sell enzymatic breath freshener spray for dogs that help prevent tartar buildup. Teeth are very important and can give insight to a dogs overall health or potentially a problem not seen other wise.

I give my dogs the dentist sticks, they clean their teeth. the vet has told me both their teeth are good, so I'll stick with this method!

I do all matters of grooming on my dog and 2 cats. Sometimes I think that's why they love my husband more! =) I clip their nails, brush them, baths and teeth. It may sound strange, but it's a great way for me to bond individually with each of them... even if they hate it most of the time. Plus, the less money I have to spend at the vet, the better!
