Testing for husband?

Hi, just wondering if any of your significant others have had to go through testing? We are 7 months TTC with no luck yet. We're doing everything "right" and are trying to be patient. We are thinking about having my hubby tested to make sure his swimmers are swimming. Any advice from someone who has gone through this would be appreciated. We're not even sure who to ask (his doctor, my doctor, a specialist?) Thanks!
