What should I do with my hair!? It's super curly and thick and I usually just keep it up in a top bun! I haven't gotten a haircut ever since I got a HORRIBLE cut. I have trust issues with hair stylists!

Girl I FEEL YOU. I have super thick natural curls AND its long. My first advice would be to get it cut. I just recently got mine trimmed and i swear if my hair could speak it would thank me every time. Go somewhere your friends like and ask for a stylist that has experience with hair like yours. Only get an inch or two off and make sure they maintain your layers. 
AT HOME CARE: I'm sure you know, NEVER EVER BRUSH IT. I use a pick-comb in the shower when I'm conditioning it to get tangled out, and my fingers for the rest. Curls like to stick together, and that's how you get nice ringlets! 
You can wet your hair every time you shower, or put it up. But don't wash it with shampoo every day. Curly hair gets frizzy from lack of moisture/oils, and shampoo strips your hair of all that goodness. I flip my hair over my head in the shower and use a lot of conditioner to get tangles out and run my fingers through it and then scrunch it. Leave the conditioner on while your doing the rest of your stuff in the shower. Rinse with WARM not hot water, and a final rinse with cool water (this seals the follicles and reduced frizz even further). 
For styling, I use two leave-in conditioners, a curl creme, and a lightweight gel. Sometimes I'll use a shine oil, depending on how my curls feel after I shower. Style your hair DAMP not wet, and scrunch your hair in a microfiber towel to gather water and Lee frizz low.
It takes time to figure out a system, and I've had a love/hate relationship with my hair for a long time before I learned to accept it and love it. If you want specifics on products I use, comment back!!

Just trim it a little. It looks beautiful!!! Or have it permanently straightened? It'll eventually go back to being natural, just like with a regular perm.
