Has anyone's doctor told them it was ok to take Benadryl while pregnant?

Yes. I have been taking generic zyrtec throughout my entire pregnancy. Yesterday I was talking to my midwife about not being able to sleep more than a couple hours at a time and she actually suggested taking 50 MG of benadryl to help. I am pretty much thinking at this point I am just sleep proof but good to know I can take it if I need with her stamp of approval. :)

Yes Benadryl is safe during pregnancy. I give it all the time.

Completely safe some doctors suggest vitamin b6 and benadryl instead of unisom

Yes. My doc said the goal is to not take any meds but most allergy medicine in moderation is ok. I got the ok for Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra, or Benadryl (whichever I choose). But was told to stay away from any that end with a D. AKA Allegra is ok but not Allegra D.

Its fine to take Benadryl . My doctor is one of those doctors who doesn't really like me to take anything but she says Benadryl is safe .
