Long distance pregnancy

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I live 1,093 miles apart. We see each other about once a month and we've decided to start a family. How in the heck do you recommend that we do this? We started trying in October and I was sure that I was pregnant...my period was late but I tested negative. As if the long distance relationship isn't hard enough, now we are trying to conceive. Any ideas?
