The Depo Shot?

I have factor five Leiden, & I've found it hard to find a birth control that will work with my factor five. I'm wondering what the Depo shot is, how it works, others experiences, etc :)

I've noticed the depo or really most birth controls to be different for each person. I'm on the depo and have been for over a year. I changed to the shot as the pill made me very ill. I haven't had my period since I first got the shot. I never gained any weight or had any change in my diet. I was abit moody the first month or so as my body got used to the shot but that's the only side effect I've had.
