Torn about trying again?

Question

After finding out our second baby no longer had a heartbeat at 9 weeks, I'm torn about trying again. I bounce between wanting to be pregnant as soon as possible in order to move on and then terrified of actually getting pregnant. I'm not sure I could handle this kind of loss again. Anyone else relate?

I had 2 miscarriages this year and am trying for number 3.. I have been feeling very torn between if I do or don't want to actually have a baby now.. The magical feeling of being pregnant was replaced by anxiety and fear.. I know his you feel X

sounds normal! I waited 5 months after mc to start trying. I was way too emotionally unwell to try right away. but now it's been 14 months since mc and I'm still not pregnant. I don't know what scares me more!!

Yep in the same boat. I just want to feel another baby in my arms... I'm not young I'm 35 and I know the older I get the harder it is to have a baby. But we decided to try one last time. I felt like my family wasn't complete and when we got pregnant I finally felt my family was whole with this baby and we could have baby and tie tubes and be blissfully happier.... Then we lost her.... :( the feeling is gone the happiness is hiding and all I want is to try again... Scared I will not conceive or lose another... It makes me angry thinking about how much I'm not in control of my body as I want to be... Sorry for your loss and hope you have a healthy baby soon.

Absolutely. It's been over a year since losing my baby and every month I have a mixture of emotions but I have faith that whatever happens I will be ok. I took time before trying again until I felt ready. I needed that to process all the emotions but everyone is different so do what feels right for you

I was so sure I was gonna have a healthy baby I didn't even think I would ever mc. So after I did I wanted to get pregnant right away and everything would be ok. I guess my body has different plans. After my second mc this month I'm not sure I want to try try but I still really want to be pregnant. My ovulation days caused all sorts of issues with my husband and I, to the point where we both broke down crying about the whole thing. Now I flip flop almost hourly on what I want. I want children so badly but im scared of being pregnant. I just already hurt so much emotionally I don't know if I can handle any more heartbreak. But I can't help but hope I'm pregnant anyways.
