(TMI PICTURE) is this a miscarriage?

I am 5 weeks 5 days. Today I had some pelvic pressure and at first Light bleeding so I ran to the er( I work in the hospital) they ran lots of tests. For starters, my blood hcg level is 399. The ultrasound my bowel was really inflamed so it was so hard for them to see the top of my uterus and especially my ovarys internally and externally, But they didn't see a yolk sack. When the dr. Gave me a pelvic exam he said that the blood wasn't coming from my cervix since that was closed. He released me with a diagnosis of "threatened miscarriage" he said to go to my ob for blood work on Saturday. Since then I've continued to have bleeding, not enough to soak a pad just enough when I wipe to be prominent, and some clotting. Also I had some pretty heavy cramping on and off which lasted about an hour. I never saw any tissue be passed. Any and all comments are appreciated at this time ❤️

I wish I had an answer! I have heard of bleeding early in the pregnancy. I've heard of women who didn't know they were pregnant because they got what they thought was a period. Personally, I'd go back to ER if bleeding continued

I too heard that blood in early pregnancy isn't completely unusual. If it's not very painful, I would wait and just follow the doctors directions.

Same thing happened to me last month. I was scared out my mind I went to the doctor got blood drawn and I ended up having a miscarriage the day.

That's the same thing that happened to me I found out I was pregnant on the night of the 11th on the 12 I began a sharply clear pink spotting when it began to bleeding when I pee or wipe (the same as yours) I rushed to the ER they did the same and I found out I was 4weeks with a HCG 139 and the did an u/s and did not see the baby yet and told me the same a threatened misscarriage and to follow up in a couple of day and when I left the ER to make sure I was still pregnant they didn't want to perform another blood test and u/s, because they said my HCG has dropped down to 12 so I'm guessing I miss carried....can anyone tell me if it's possible to actually go on to full term with a inviable HCG???

The er dr. Let me know my cervix is still closed so that's good but they couldn't see the yolk sack in the ultrasound but it could just be that I'm earlier then I thought. He said the blood could be coming from the placenta attaching? The blood and clots got worse after all the exams

I would also be concerned. I have had spotting, really only visual when I wipe, and it's a UTI. I wouldn't rule out a possible infection but I'd also take it easy until you can see your OB
