Should there be an age requirement on this app?

This is a fertility app, not sex advice for minors!

It's for anybody who has periods wants to conceive and those who don't,  kids have periods at very young ages, why should they be denied to use this app because of their age.  My 12 year old niece uses this app to track her irregular periods

No. This is an app for all everything involving the female reproductive including (sometimes male) partners. Why should younger girls be excluded from an app which directly services them. A lot of girls/women/people don't have anyone to turn to and ask these questions, which is why the forums were set up. This isn't a thirty something pregnancy club... It's a period tracker app.

This is used for people tracking their period, avoiding pregnancy, TTC and pregnant. You can go to your settings and put which age groups you would like to see and not see. Simple as that..

No one under the age of 18 should be using this app. There is a lot of sexually explicit content on this app as well as a lot of sexual health advice being passed out by non-medical professionals. Young women under the age of 18 need to be talking to their parents and doctors about these things.

No there shouldn't be an age requirement, and even if there was what difference would it make? I could have easily put my birth date in to say I was 44. Personally I think it's great and love that younger girls have access to information about their bodies and advice from women that have been there and got the t shirt, I wish I had this when I was young as I didn't want to talk to my mam and had no sex ed classes or anyone else to talk to. Tbh I'd rather see posts from young adults trying to gain knowledge and advice about their bodies and safe sex, than posts from anonymous, judgemental, older women that love nothing better than complaining about younger girls posts. We all need guidance and advice sometimes and I'd rather they get it from kind women willing to help that have experienced it, instead of Google or their friends, who know nothing on the subject and give them the wrong advice. Sorry for the rant but I'm sick of seeing the same sort of posts every few days when there is an easy solution

There actually 3 different apps. One for period tracking, one for ttc, and one for pregnancy tracking. The community is all of them combined. I don't think there should be an age requirement because everyone gets their periods at different times. And girls are getting them younger and younger these days. I started my period at 10. Fortunately, my mom educated me on my period, my body, sex and all that. But not everyone is that fortunate. Some girls/women don't have anyone to talk to about these kinds of things. It can be difficult, because I personally don't agree with young girls/teenagers having sex. But that is my personal opinion, everyone has one. All I can do is offer my advice and knowledge based on what I have experienced during my life as a woman so far. If it really bothers you that much, there is an age filter. You can filter out people of younger ages if you wish. Me personally, I'd rather try to give advice and help them. Even though I don't necessarily agree with it. Because I'd rather them be educated before they make such a decision. And I'm glad that many of them have chosen to come here for help, instead of not educating themselves

It's just a lady cycle app. No matter what point you're at in your years,  is got something for you.  I don't mind the underage girls,  even the weird questions from any age.  Being a woman is tough and it's not easy to navigate a new area of it alone. Some girls,  of all ages,  have nobody to talk to or ask those real life questions to so I say bring 'em on! !

Maybe if they ask for the age when we first get the app, and once they're on here they can't get access to any sex forums or anything that should be considered 18+
