My husband always paid his ex gf child support in monthly checks but nothing court ordered. When she filled for state help it became court ordered and was auto withdrawn from from paychecks. Actually requiring him to pay her less. Anyways, maybe it depends on the state (Iowa) but her and her new bf are expecting. Will her new bf have to pay child support on their baby? They live together. I'm just curious I guess how the system works.
