Going back to work??!! UGH

Hi All,
I am heading back to work next week after my mat leave and I am a combination of annoyed, anxious and dread!! My mom is taking care of the baby (no child care angst) but I really just don't want to go back! Can someone talk me off the ledge and give me some tips on how to suck it up?

I went back to work for a week.. Then took an unpaid leave for 6 months 😂
Funny thing is I'm pregnant again! I love my job but its so much relief to stay at home watching your baby the first year or so.
I know I'm not helping but I hope you'll be stronger than me

I started working a few months ago, and as much as it is annoying, it is a good distraction and break. Nice to have something else to do, brings back a bit of normalcy.

I went back to work 7 weeks after my baby was born. I'm not gonna sugar coat it, it sux and I feel like I don't get enough time with her but on the other side, you can eat without interruption, your working to provide for your child and you do get a much needed break. It will be ok, it is hard. My daughter is 6 months old and I hate leaving her but I have to work to care for her so no choice.

I'm jealous you got this much time off! I'm not gonna lie, it sucks. But it makes every moment you get with your baby that much sweeter. And honestly, I feel like it's good for a baby's development to interact with people other than mom all the time. As much as I wish I could be home with him instead...

Thanks girls!!! I am just trying to prepare myself I think my anxiousness is making me feel like it's going to be worse than it is. I am just going to in with an open mind and hope I feel good about it ;)
